In terms of efficiency, the gap is significant. A manual stacker requires 100 pedal presses to lift goods to 1.6 meters, taking more than 2.5 minutes; an electric stacker, with a lifting speed of 10 cm per second, completes the same task in only 16 seconds. In terms of traveling speed, electric stackers reach 1-1.5 meters per second, nearly 50% faster than manual ones. The overall efficiency of electric stackers is more than 5 times that of manual models. For 20 cargo handling operations, electric stackers take 25 minutes to finish, while manual operation requires 2 hours.
In terms of operation, electric stackers greatly reduce labor intensity. Manual stackers rely on manual hydraulic pressure for lifting and are difficult to push when loaded; electric stackers control lifting, lowering and steering through motors, which can be operated by simply pressing buttons on the handle, significantly reducing physical consumption.
In terms of load capacity and lifting height, electric stackers are superior. Mainstream electric stackers have a load capacity of over 2,000 kg and a maximum lifting height of 6 meters; the maximum load capacity of manual stackers is generally around 1,500 kg, and the operation difficulty increases significantly when the lifting height exceeds 3 meters.
In terms of safety and operational continuity, electric stackers are more reliable. Equipped with sensors, overload alarms and other devices, they can work continuously for 6-8 hours on a single charge; manual stackers are prone to safety hazards due to operator fatigue.
Industry insiders said that although electric stackers have a higher initial investment, they save substantial labor and time costs in the long run, offering higher cost-effectiveness. Their market share is expected to further increase in the future.
